M.Tech Project:
Development of Instrumentation Using Bioelectrical Impedance Technique to Study the Growth of Living Tissue.
The electrical activity of a living tissue reflects its cell construction and physiological activity. In these cases, it is necessary to measure the frequency characteristics of electrical impedance rapidly and easily. After obtaining the frequency characteristics, different parameters like, capacitance, resistance, impedance, change in dielectric constant can be determined, and the condition for activity of trees/plants can be estimated. In the present investigation, the impedance spectroscopy method is used for the measurement of the plant impedance during its growth and decay. The alternating current, at frequency range from 500Hz to 1MHz is applied to the stem/root of plant, and equivalent resistance and equivalent reactance at each frequency point are obtained. The experimental set-up consists of function generator, constant current source, Ag-AgCl electrodes, phase detector, micro controller etc.
M.Sc Project:
MICROPROCESSOR BASED ELECTRONIC VOATING MACHINE:
This EVM is designed around Intel’s basic 8085 microprocessor and Programmable Peripheral Interface (PPI) device 8255.This EVM has password option and by using this EVM time is reduced for counting the votes and also number of people required for counting also decreased as compared to the manual voting procedure.

Telephone based Remote Control:
Telephone remote control implies control of devices at a remote location via a circuit interfaced to the remote telephone line/device by dialing specific DTMF digits from a local telephone.

Heart Beat Monitoring and Counter
For centuries the medical professionals have been aided in their diagnosis of certain types of heart disorders by the sounds and vibration associated with the beating of the heart and the pumping blood. The technique of listening to sound produced by the organs and vessels of the body is called AUSCULTATION. Our device also gives auscultation output. With the help of this device we can monitor and measure the heart beats per minute.
