Responsibility handling:
ü Key Result Areas & Initiative/Achievements
· Involve in Business Partnering with the Production & Commercial team in reviewing planning, estimating & optimization raw material mix cost of major raw materials and fuel mix from alternative procurement sources.
· Provision of expenses on monthly basis with close coordination with user department as accurate as possible.
· Estimation of variable cost on weekly/monthly basis and analysis of variance from budget with more than 98 % accuracy.
· Monitoring Internal Control System and ensuring system compliance.
· Lowest net working capital & advances in FY 2012 amongst various units in the last five years through advance monitoring, implementing interest free deposit & advance from all local contractors.
· Initiative taken to minimize long pending GRIR from more than six months to less than three months.
· Ensuring timely response to statutory audit and other statutory compliance including audit observations, queries and remarks.
· Timely schemes closure under Capex.
· Initiative taken for vendors’ registration for auto e-payment. Upto 99% of the vendor payments are being made online, resulting in quicker and timely payments.

· Regular analysis of cost element wise & cost per tonne report variances between actual & budget with reasons.
· Monitoring variable cost per tonnes on weekly basis in regard to budget.
· Ensuring all major expenses/ provision duly accounted for monthly accounts closure.
· Actively involved in Five year Fin-Plan & budgeting Process.
· Cost estimation & rolling forecast on monthly basis, based on most recent cost records and latest cost estimation.
· Cost Benefits Analysis & cost rationalization for procurement of raw materials from various suppliers.
· Analysis of element & activity wise cost trend as per the cost centre.

· Review of Trail Balance on monthly basis and monitoring its variances and reporting thereof.
· Review verified invoices & ensuring credit of excise, service tax and other taxes taken as per statutory rules, & ensuring correct posting.
· Monitoring advances & net working capital and analysis of variances.
· Provisioning of expenses at each monthly Closing.
· Monthly accounts closing procedures by 1stof succeeding month as per HO guidelines.
· Ensuring timely payment & filling return of taxes and other statutory compliances.
· Monitoring of actual Capex expenditure with the budget.
· Review of Capex advances and CWIP.
· Monitoring abnormal /adverse balances in Vendors/GLs/GRIRs Account.
· Close Coordination with statutory & internal Auditors .
· Ensuring POs issued by procurement department are properly authorized with all required details.
· Monitoring GRIR balances & its ageing with corrective measure for reducing value of pending GRIR.
· Regular reconciliation of major raw material vendors’ balance.
