Description :
The purpose of college Information System project is to maintain each and every information related to the College and Students. It is developed to computerize and thereby automate the entire everyday work process. It is built to cover all the areas of college oriented data transaction.
It is basically online based application and it is a database application developed using SQL Server, to make the system fully user-friendly and front end using ASP .NET, to make the system fully scalable.
Project work at NIIT:
Title : Library Management System for McGraw Library.

Role : Development of a website which helps in managing the library and testing the outcomes with various combinations of input data.
Description :
Carried out the project “Library Management System for McGraw Library” at NIIT, Bangalore as partial fulfillment of the course requirements for Diploma in .NET Technologies. The objective of the project was to design a website for McGraw library, which would help in making the day to day library management tasks easier.
The project was carried out on .NET platform, using ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server 2008 with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. The following tasks were accomplished with this project.
· Create a centralized database to store books, CDs, audio cassettes and member information.
· Allow a member to register and search for the required resource.
· Keep track of members’ transactions.
· Provide a facility for members to pay the membership fees through credit or debit card.
